DEVELOPMENTS
Project Independence commenced operation in 2012 in Canberra and is a registered Community Housing Provider as well as a registered NDIS provider. We continue to explore opportunities to build and develop more properties for the disadvantaged and are in the process of expanding into other areas of Australia.

PROJECT INDEPENDENCE LATHAM
Project Independence Latham was our first property that we had residents with an intellectual disability move in to. It opened in May 2016. The growth from the residents on their journey to independent living is wonderful to see.
PROJECT INDEPENDENCE HARRISON
Project Independence Harrison is our second fully functional property. It opened in May 2016. The residents here have shown tremendous growth in their journey to independent living.
PROJECT INDEPENDENCE PHILLIP
Project Independence Phillip is our third property in Canberra, providing another 10 people with an intellectual disability the chance to live independently. It opened in August 2023 and the new residents are settling into their new homes..

PROJECT INDEPENDENCE
GLEN HUNTLY, MELBOURNE
Project Independence Glen Huntly is our first property in Melbourne that is in the planning and development stages. While slightly different from the Canberra properties as it is a refurbishment rather than a new build, we are excited to see the project come to life.
PROJECT INDEPENDENCE FRENCHS FOREST, SYDNEY
We have partnered with a developer to secure property for disadvantaged groups in Frenchs Forest, Sydney. Building will begin in 2024 and is estimated to be completed in 2026.
FUTURE PROJECT INDEPENDENCE CANBERRA DEVELOPMENTS
We continue to look for opportunities to continue to build in Canberra to keep up with the demand for our unique housing model. We are in discussions with some developers across different areas of Canberra.
