Isabelle has gone from strength to strength since starting her independence journey. Living at Project Independence has increased her confidence, allowing her to make more connections with her peers and has even helped her with the different roles she does in her work.
Isabelle loves that she is able to decorate her space however she wants, giving her the ability to express herself freely. She enjoys looking after her garden with the support of her family.
Rhys is one of PI’s longest standing residents. He enjoys cooking for himself and others, although not everyone enjoys chilli as much as he does!
Living at Project Independence, Rhys has learnt to think about different things, he often moves things around his home until he is happy they are in the right place. Rhys enjoys learning new skills that make he feel comfortable he will be ok being independent in the future.
Sophie moved into her new home at Project Independence to focus on taking care of herself and being independent. Sophie came through our Pathways to Independence program, which gave her a strong foundation to thrive in her new home at PI.
Sophie is so proud of her increasing independence. She has enjoyed picking out her own furniture to fill her home and have her own space to explore her creativity and express herself freely.
